Our historic camp provides the comforts of home and is ideally situated in some of the best elk habitat in Montana.

We limit our weekly booking to no more than 5 hunters per week. All hunts consist of one hunter per guide for personal attention. Why pay more for 2 hunters to a guide?!

Our hunts are fair chase and include resident herds and migrating elk from Yellowstone National Park. We abide by all game laws set by the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

Bow hunting and rifle hunting in the Lee Metcalf wilderness is an opportunity to experience one of the wildest areas left in North America. Adjacent to Yellowstone National Park wildlife is abundant. Big game such as elk, moose, deer, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, grizzlies, black bears, wolves, pine martins and wolverines are some of the animals you may encounter. Our camp was set in a prime location for hunting and has been in the same place since 1927. This is the only overnight use permit available in this area; the Lee Metcalf Wilderness encompasses approximately 259,000 acres.
